We have been founded on a desire for teachers to share their love for their subject to inspire their students, both for academic success and to find a joy in their subject.
All tutors will be given a short interview and be asked to model their explanations of a difficult concept.
Tutors who work with Bright Path Learning will showcase their practice, love of subject and deep knowledge of both content and examinations to our leadership team to ensure that the experience of tutees is excellent in all sessions.
All tutors will be required to provide evidence of up to date DBS certification to protect the safeguarding, and they will be required to confirm their reading and understanding of the latest update of Keeping Children Safe in Education. This document forms part of compulsory training for all teachers working in UK schools.

This is one of the most common questions asked. Parents and guardians can be haunted by students abstaing from remote learnign through COVID and worry that they will not engage online. However, at Bright Path learning we leverage the online model to enhance the learning experience of our students. By working online, we can ensure:
All sessions can be recorded to allow students to go back through when they need a reminder of what content they covered.
Teachers can utilise visualisers, graphics pads and other technology to model processes and explanations.
Students can more easily be directed to excellent online learning tools, no more scribbling down a website that students forget to visit.
Students no longer have the problem of reading handwriting, or tutors writing upside down
For group sessions, tutors can monitor student work in real time, provide individual, private feedback and share work with ease for all students to review and improve.
The best teachers are that way because they care and throw themselves into their job. This often leaves little time for transport to houses. As such, the online model allows us to bring in fantastic staff who in the past have been put off tuition, to allow them to share their enthusiasm with our students and deliver outstanding tuition services at both GCSE and A level.
The online model allows us at Bright Path Learning to access all areas. No matter how remote or urban the area that you live is, you can access the highest quality online tuition from the comfort of your own home.
From our own experience, the access and user experience has been far superior as technology has improved both through and after COVID, which allows sessions to be even more effective when delivered online than in person when working with a small group.

Safeguarding is the most important part of any teacher's role both in a classroom, and in an online tuition platform. To ensure effective safeguarding we:
Ask fo evidence of up to date DBS checks from our tutors
Ask for confirmation of training on the latest updates to Keeping Children Safe in Education
Meet with the tutor in a short interview process
Record all sessions. If there is every a complain raised then Bright Path Learning leadership would review the session and follow up accordingly.

Payment plans set up to group costs by half term

Learning is a long and winding process. People seek private tuition for various reasons, but the most common is to help children perform better at school. At Bright Path Learning, we recruit excellent teachers to support GCSE and A-level students in English, Maths, and Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics).
When teachers meet students, they not only explain new concepts clearly and thoroughly but also identify other areas where a student may be struggling. This could include their interpretation of questions, confidence to attempt tasks, endurance and discipline in revision, effectiveness of study techniques, or difficulty overcoming procrastination.
Teenagers live in a complex world, facing rapid changes physically, socially, mentally, and academically. The most effective tutors connect with their students quickly and recognise the tell-tale signs of potential weaknesses. These high-quality tutors then provide the guidance and support needed to help students overcome these challenges, leading to rapid progress.
In terms of potential progress:
The overall improvement depends on the engagement between both the tutor and the student.
The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) has identified that private tuition can lead to an additional 5 months of progress each year.
Anecdotally, we have worked with students who have made significant improvements, such as moving from a grade 4 to a grade 9 at GCSE between Year 10 and Year 11. At A-level, we’ve seen students progress from an E grade to an A, even pursuing careers in medicine.
Keep up with our blog to read case studies of the students we've worked with.
